This scholarship is available through the Monroe County Ag Day Fund at the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County. It may be used for tuition, fees, books, and/or equipment necessary for coursework.
The next opportunity for this scholarship award will be in Spring 2025.
Who may apply? Applicants must meet at least ONE of the following criteria:
- Must have been raised on a farm in Monroe County, Indiana (or)
- Be a member/former member of the Monroe County 4-H program (or)
- Be a current member of an FFA chapter in Monroe County
Area of Study: Applicants may major in any area of study; however, preference will be given to those individuals majoring in Agriculture, Home Economics, or Natural Resources.
Applicants must be on track to graduate from high school by June 30 of cohort year to apply.
Amount of Award/Presentation of Award: The amount of individual awards varies from year to year. Decisions will be communicated to applicants by early June 2024. Monetary awards will be available and distributed directly to schools upon proof of enrollment by August of the current year.
